I do annual
accounts and tax returns (including GST returns) for small businesses and
rental property owners (< $100,000 revenue per annum). I also do tax returns
for salary/wage earners. I also give advice to the above. I do all this for a
cheap flat rate per annum.
I charge a
cheap flat rate per annum so that customers know exactly how much they will
have to pay, unlike most accountants & tax agents who charge by the hour so
the customers only find out how much they will have to pay when their accounts
have been finished. My accounts are easy to understand – they don’t have pages
and pages of notes unlike the accounts that most accountants prepare. I go out
of my way to keep in touch with my clients, unlike a lot of internet-based tax
agents, e.g. I rang them to find out how they fared in the earthquake and gave
them some information about tax matters relating to the earthquake.
